About the Hackathon

This hackathon is a platform for the CFD-OpenFOAM community to show their skills in OpenFOAM. Participants are expected to upgrade solved Case Studies into the latest versions of OpenFOAM according to the standards of openfoam.org or openfoam.com.

The list of solved Case Studies will be released along with the Problem Statement Announcement. Please refer to the Dates Section at the top, for more details about important dates.

The OpenFOAM Hackathon is organised by the FOSSEE project, IIT Bombay. FOSSEE (Free and Open Source Software for Education) trains and promotes the use of Free/ Libre Open Source Software. This project is a part of the National Mission on Education through ICT (NMEICT) funded by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
